I have noticed over the last few days the WW sends the signal to my GivEnergy inverter (note I have two systems and the same is happening to both) but instead of just setting the charge times it also switches it from solar and grid to solar only so doesn’t charge from grid. Anyone else had this issue and know how to correct it without doing so manually as I’m having to now?
GivEnergy switching to solar only at each WW trigger

Can you go to the GivEnergy web dashboard, click on My Inverter on the left hand side menu and then Remote Control in top right hand corner:
Then scroll down to the bottom and view the logs and take a screengrab and post it please?
Would be good to also get some input from our other Giv users here as to identify what might be going on please. But the inverter logs will be a good start.
I think this is the same as I asked about over on the Agile Integration thread: [https://community.wonderwatt.com/d/63-agile-octopus-integration/140]. It's because you are now setting AC charge enable to OFF at the end of each slot.
The Charge Mode "Solar" and "Solar + Grid" is how it shows up in the app rather than the web portal.
admin No. What I understand @MarkP to be saying is that in the APP, it is reverting to Solar only, at the end of the charge session, and he expected it to stay on Solar + Grid. So it is not disabling solar charging at all - only disabling AC change (AKA Grid in the app).
This is the same effect as I raised but he is looking at it from the APP and I was looking at it from the web portal. The problem is that the wording used on the app ("Solar" and "Solar + Grid") and web portal ("AC Charge Enabled" - ON or OFF) are different so it can start to get confusing.

DaveM OK, so now I am really confused as to what the problem is?
Would love for other Giv experts to chime in pls @Gazzagreen @KevinD - sorry to lump you in here lads!
Just trying to work out what Giv settings we need to reset at the back of a charge window.

You can see on this where I have manually reset the system to grid and solar on the app (for example at 0706) and where you have set it to off (0657) at the end of a charge cycle. This switching it off is relatively new (or I’ve just noticed it following a fail to charge the other day on both systems I have). As the OP says on the app it is “grid and solar” on the web portal it is “AC charge enable”
Having seen it charge last night and still do the switch I am not sure it matters now, but I had, perhaps wrongly, assumed that that was the cause of the failure to charge on either system a couple of nights ago in my morning cheap rate window. From the logs I can see you are switching it to solar only (ie ac charge off) at the end of a charging window but setting it to start charging when required
Yes my app always revert to just say Solar on the System Mode page, no matter how many times I chahge it to say Solar+grid. When you go o the main mobile app dashboard and manual set the gadget to force charge the battery, it DOES use power from the Grid to get up to the full charge rate. So it says solar on the System mode page, but it it seems to be false?
Right, so I think this does mean that WW should not set the AC charge enabled back to false after a charge window for Giv inverters, agreed?
Well I haven't had a problem with it so far (except that one time last week where everyone experienced the same thing). So I'll leave it to what others wish to see.
I haven't had any problem as a result of it either. When I first raised this on the other thread it was simply because I had not seen it happen before and wanted to understand why.
If everyone had the same single issue last week it would appear not matter. I probably put 2 and 2 together and made 5 with that single failure to charge in the early window last week
