Forced discharge does not stop at end of allocated time slot

I set up a forced discharge to export remaining battery charge before the cheap overnight slot. This did not run on the evening of the day I set it up. Not sure why.
Following day (today) I set up another test schedule for with the same parameters (if SOC>25%, export until SOC=15%), to force discharge/export for 15 minutes whilst I could monitor effects. The discharge/export started at the scheduled time but continued after the time slot expired. Discharge continued even when I used the WW Pause function to try to stop the export. I had to turn the inverter off then manually reset to stop battery drain. Does the minimum SOC setting overrule the time setting and disable WW Pause?

Looking at the inverter settings on the Solax app, it looks like WW had set the inverter in Manual/Forced Discharge mode and that did not reset automatically at the end of the time slot.

Am I doing something wrong?

The discharge started as scheduled 09:45 04/11/2025. As it was a test I set it up for 15 minutes, but it continued afterward until about 13:00 when I eventually found how to stop by resettimg Solax app/inverter work mode. I still have a cheduled export at 22:00 today (if SOC is <25%) so I will check again tonight.

Hartleys_Solar Thanks for that, very odd, we can see you set the export for 9:45 - 10:00 - but nothing happened at 10:00 and can't find anything obvious in the logs. Let's see what happens this evening.

In fact my schedules will get a good test tonight because IOG have an extra slot 22:30-23:00, so system should export excess at 22:00, then smart charge 22:30-23:00, then fixed charge 23:30-05:30 next day.

WW worked well with IOG, car charged outside the fixed 23:30-05:30 and house battery charged at same time instead of draining in to car. Great.

My scheduled forced export of battery down to 15% before overnight charge started as expected but did not stop at 15% as programmed, continued to 10% battery minimum. - this led to house was drawing full price power for a short time.
I will work around this by adjusting time of the scheduled discharge, but it seems the stop discharge at X% is not working.

Hartleys_Solar It's based on a proportionate calculation of the discharge. This can vary based on how accurate your BMS records the state of the cells.

Sometimes it helps to fully discharge/charge or calibrate.

Thanks, Admin. If I have understood your reply (and other Solax related threads on this forum) correctly, the Solax inverter does not have a facility to stop discharge at X% SOC hence you have a workaround which calculates the duration of the forced discharge based on the initial SOC and the set discharge rate. Is that right? I've fiddled with the Schedule settings for duration and desired end SOC, also adjusted the battery rate and inverter rate in the advanced settings tab. I still can't get the desired effect, either discharge overruns and system then imports full price power until the next cheap charge window, or (with shorter time duration set) I don't achieve the desired export. In your reply you mention full discharge/charge or calibrate, how would I do this?

Hartleys_Solar Calibration tends to be different on different systems.

So would be worth picking this up with Solax. The alternative if your SOC is unreliable and you have sharp drop-offs, is to just manage a shorter time window for exports.

But ultimately, inaccurate SoC is rather inconvenient anyway, for obvious reasons.
