I setup a new account on Sunday, added all relevant information but my GivEnergy inverter/car charger combined with 2025 Ford extended range RWD Explorer does not work, I continually get an error message from the Octopus App “can’t control charge”. I have no schedule selected in the car nor the charger it just won’t talk to the car. I Ended up just charging my house battery but at full tariff cost.
Has anyone ever managed to get this type of combo working?
