Tomc1234 Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Just checked my batteries to see they’re charging using the iog. Seems to have been sending commands at the wrongs times? Any ideas.
admin Tomc1234 What times were you expecting? What did you see in the Octopus app in terms of mapped charges? These are simply dynamic charge slots that Octopus assigned to you, and which we acted upon.
Tomc1234 admin ok makes sense, we didn’t have our ev plugged in so was unsure. Are the dynamic slots that are assigned automatically set at the off peak rate?
warped-carpet admin Hi That is my experience but in my case, slots only allocated if the Ohme Home Pro is connected to the car (Octopus not in control). Makes sense to me.
admin Tomc1234 Yep - that's how IOG works. If you plug your car in and you get slots assigned without using the Boost function, they will be off-peak.
Tomc1234 Ok - that makes sense… although we haven’t had our car plugged in and we’re still getting these lunch time slots assigned?
admin Tomc1234 And they show up in the Octopus app as smart charges? Either tell them, or perhaps not, once you check and confirm they are off-peak - but ultimately, they will have to be if we pick them up as smart charges issued by them...
johalareewi warped-carpet There have been issues with Ohme Pro + IOG + WW because the IOG scheduling is done by Ohme and not by Octopus. So the bonus slots don't show in the Octopus database and WW can't see them.
