Firstly, may I say a big thank you for an excellent utility.
You're welcome, great to hear it's useful to you!
"Hold charge Yes - 0%" it is still discharging itself between the charging slots, at about 300W. Looking in the inverter logs it certainly looks as though Wonder Watt is correctly setting the "Battery Discharge Power" to zero.
This has been reported before by other users too with Giv systems, where even setting it to 0% discharge doesn't quite mean 0%.
I think it depends on inverter model, firmware version and a few other things.
The 'Pause' functionality we use that you refer to and which is accessible in the Giv app, is exactly the same, the Giv app sets the charge and discharge rate to 0.
So, I would expect if you set your battery to 'Pause' via the Giv app, you will see the same 300W going out? Unless 'Pause in the app' also disables the 'Enabled DC discharge' flag? Can you capture the values in the Giv log for a Giv 'Pause' via the app please?
It may be that for people who have hold-charge to 0% we need to add the 'Enable DC discharge' flag and set it to false.
