Inverter timeout

I am using Growatt for the most simple schedules. 1 export and 1 charge.
This morning I saw in activity log the inverter had timeouted so instruction to initiate charge failed.
It does not appear any retries attempted which is unfortunate.

I usually have the inverter timed charge set with timed charge 02:00 to 05:00 but noted Growatt overwrites this and changes it to 00:00 to 00:00 when it successfully connects to inverter and sets instruction.
For now I disable the charge schedule and only have the export schedule enabled, and keep the inverter timed charge config set.

Can growatt not keep reverting the charge times to back to 00:00?

Jc73uk We actually do have a policy for 3 retries (so 4 attempts in total) in place, including a back off factor. You can see this from our diagnostics log here:

The reason we 'disable' the schedule by setting from and to time to 00:00-00:00 is because other users have more frequent schedules, that are more dynamic and may change to a later time the next day, which would mess things up if we kept them in place.

Thanks for the reply. For the schedule timer, I understand, no probs. As my charge requirement is for only 1 schedule, I shouldn't really need to use wonderwatt scheduler. But I have had occasion where the GivEnergy scheduler did not activate when it should have done which is why I set up in wonderwatt. The export schedule is working great for me!
For the timeout issue, the reattempt calls are all sent quite close together. If there was a option to retry after say 5 minute interval several times that might have had success. I dont know how long my internet may have been down but suspect that was issue. This is 1st timeout I had, and most likely be my Internet provider (virginmedia) had issue during that period. My router was not set to reboot or anything, so hard for me to tell, but expect virginmedia was cause.
