All sorted now. There were no errors/alarms showing on the SPH inverter, in the app, or the battery stack. I did notice however on the inverter display that the battery wasn't showing a connection to the it like normal. The App and web portal both seemed to indicate it was Ok with 10% charge, but couldn't get it to charge batteries. I have an API key and used postman to try and set it to charge too, but got error 10001 in response that means "system error".
I restarted the inverter/battery stack, still didn't work.
Shut it all down again, and then removed and re-inserted all the connections on the battery stack (incl. contol bus connections). When I brough it back up I could then set Battery First mode and it stated charging, so must have been loose or oxidised cable (probably control bus one which aren't good design - they should have a right angled connector on them like the battery +/- cables).
