  • Octopus export value vs Growatt Inverter

Not really a WW question, but as this is a Growatt forum thought there might be some discussion to be had on my question 😐
I've been logging what Octupus [Agile] says I've exported daily vs what Growatt [SPH inverter] reports in its dsahboard.
The Octopus value is consistently 92% of the Growatt value, as an example 13.92 vs 15.1kWh.
I'm putting this down to the Octopus meter being more accurate than the Growatt CT cable clamp used to measure export current.
Are Octupus diddling me on the amount I export every day (would be in their interest to show a lower export value), or is my theory above correct?

I notice that my bills are always higher than what i have worked out myself on the data I have.

What can you do? Nothing really.

However on the Octopus website, they are starting to show more and more data that they are collecting themselves, which of course is different than what you will get from our sensors. The meter is king after all!

All I can tell you, is don't worry about it. You'll be happier and healthier lol!
