Breconbuff Can someone help me with my settings please because for the last 2 nights my battery has failed to charge at all, meaning an empty battery and my running on full price grid power as there is no sun. I am on Octopus Flux so low tariff between 0200 and 0500. I have a GivEnergy 8.5kwh battery. My have ticked "Enable Smart Charging" - Charge at Least ( set at 100). Use Battery - not ticked Off Peak is set at 0200-0500 daily use - 6 Grateful if someone can let me know what is going wrong here please? If i can't fix it soon, I will be going back to the GivEnergy app and set the battery charge that way. Thank you!
admin Breconbuff Hi - it looks like a charge instruction of 100% was set and sent to your inverter, the last two days. Can you check your Inverter Notifications on the GivEnergy portal? Also - what do your Timed Charge settings details look like?
Breconbuff admin thanks Admin, yes I set the figure to 100%....was that not correct? I looked at my inverter notifications on GivEnergy. The last one was on 2 October ....BMS Over voltage??
admin Breconbuff Well, that looks like those settings have been correctly set by WW then. If this isn't actioned, it's something to do with GivEnergy and your inverter. Might be worth getting in touch with them. They also have a good support forum.
Breconbuff Ok thanks. I contacted them and my battery was set charge to 0 for some reason. I'm sure I didn't change anything but anyway it should be sll sorted now. Thanks for your help👍
