I am just formalising this request from an 'in conversation' topic to a formal request for a feature update. I now have my BEV and so now this has shot up my own priority list.
The choice of implementation is yours, either a 'Read at start' and then 'return to read value' or 'Set a value in Advanced Settings' on which to return to - whatever is the easiest to implement and create less potential issues.
Objective: Avoid draining the battery at the end of the charge cycle by putting the 'Battery Discharge Power' value to the same value as the 'Charge Power' value, which is what happens today. If my EV is still charging then the outcome will be that it will drain my battery into the EV instead of pulling from the grid [mainly] and only pulling a small amount out of the battery.
I do not yet have a wall charger that can be controlled, but in actual fact this is more universal for any 'heavy load' appliances [heat pumps] which would have the same outcome.
Many thanks and keep me posted on potential timelines.
