danvoner I think the gist of it was, last year NESO (the operator) provided an uplift to the rates, which was past on the the suppliers (energy companies, Givback, Loop etc) and thence the end users. This year, that uplift will either be far smaller or not happening. ie. p/kWh offered could be rubbish, so possibly not even worth the effort.
That being said, there is still mention or "real" events being reimbursed appropriately.
IIRC, last year there were something like 12 test events and 3 real events. The real events had a much higher rate, so worth dumping everything you could, even if it meant buying back at "day rate" later.
