Hi
I have a couple of questions regarding the workings of the app and give energy batteries and inverters. My id is impossible-injury
1 When I schedule a discharge to an SOC of 40% in the afternoon peak time (on Octopus Flux), if the battery reaches 40%before the end of the discharge period, the battery pauses and I am drawing from the grid at peak rate. Is there any was to stop the discharge instruction when the SOC limit is reached or alternatively enable Eco which will cancel the discharge I understand.
Your algorithms seem to be good at stopping the discharge before the battery reaches 40% by adjusting discharge end time but a couple of times the battery has paused and the house has drawn from the grid.
2 The above leads on to my second point. In the Giv portal I have set maximum charge and discharge rates at 80% to protect the battery. These registers are not overwritten by WW. My AIO is 6kw so 80% brings this down to 4.8kw.
What should I set the limits to in the advanced section for inverter and battery limits so that your calculations for timed discharge are as accurate as possible. My thought was to set either inverter rate or battery rate to 4.8kw but not sure which would work the way I would like it to.
Is there a better way for me to protect the battery through WW settings rather than with the GE portal?
Thank you
