  • Not sticking to timings schedules

Hi,

I had a charging slot for battery charge and IO until 07:30 am today. It was still drawing from the grid at 07:50, as.on the attached image, rather than drawing from the battery. This seems to be a common issue for me, as it doesn't stick to the timings that I want, meaning I'm drawing from the grid, rather than the battery. Is there anything that needs changing for it then system to stick to the desired times? Thanks.

    majamo Ah, it looks like your 7:30-8:30 schedule was still Active at that time.

    "ScheduleName":"Charge","TimeFrom":"07:30","TimeTo":"08:30","IsScheduleActive":true

    Deactivating it after it has started has no effect as the instruction has already been sent to the inverter.

    Ah. I had turned that off last night. But it stopped shortly after 07:50?

      majamo Ah sorry, was looking at 21 Nov, so yesterday. Are you on IOG?

      majamo Ah well, and your EV supports IOG? You get mapped slots from them?

      In which case, we had not enabled IOG for your account, it's currently opt-in upon request.

      This has been enabled now and you can access it via Intelligent under the Octopus submenu. Just needs your Octo account number and Octopus API key.

      Also, probably a good idea once enabled to deactivate your other custom charge Schedules as they will be conflicting otherwise.

      Hi, thanks. The IO seems to be working well. But it discharges the battery for a while before it then charges back up again. And then when the charging time slot ends for some reason it still charges the car. I'm using a Zappi and it is set to eco plus mode, so delivers 1.4kwh to the car, unless I manually change modes to "stop". Any ideas? Thanks.

      Hi Majamo the 1.4kwh delay to the car is a time setting in your zappi, as it happens i have this to maximum for when clouds pass through between my panels and the sun, this also seems to be the time when first plugged in too.
      Sure you'll find it in zappi menu. :)

      This has only happened since IO was enabled on my account. So I'm not sure what has happened. I've not changed ay settings on the Zappi.

        majamo I meant to say it is on eco++ mode..
        Any ideas?
