• Growatt
  • Battery not responding after a held session

I ran for then very first time a successful ‘hold’ session from 0000 to 0800 this morning. All went well.
Once the period was out of the way I wanted to change the names of my sessions. In particular the EARLY MORNING was to finish at 0700. There whew no slots active when I did this. My next session SOLAR was changed to start at 0700.
When I looked at my system it appears that a session appears to be active, my battery is 100% and my system is running off the grid. I have tried to run a session 0000-2300 to unblock it without success. Growatt shows Battery First and I do not seem to be able to switch it to LOAD.

Grateful for your urgent help. I appreciate that the problem was probably of my own making.

Thanks

ALLENPATTRICK It looks like you have a hold session starting at 8:00-16:00 - which is why this is happening. Or at least you did at 8:00 AM.

Go to Pause - and Pause all schedules, this should interrupt it and disable inverter schedules.

Growatt now seems to have unlocked the battery after some solar assistance which muddies the water. I switched on oven etc and saw the 100% go down. The system also shows load first and I have no more planned sessions for the day.

My current intention this evening is to enable EARLY MORNING, SOLAR AND EVENING SESSIONS with no other changes except the time. I ran them yesterday and this morning so hoping that today’s problems might be due to unfortunate timing. If you could cast your eye over them I would be grateful.

admin Our e mails crossed. I have done what you asked. All appears to be running well. Can I reinstate all of my regular schedules now to pick up today’s updates? Is it good practice to pause and restart before reinstating them all to avoid problems?

        Many thanks

          No, not typically.

You should be able to activate the windows you need, yes.
