Failure of schedule Grid given preference

Grid used when fully charged battery available.
I had a preselected schedule which included 0000-0400. All slots were shown as selected. All went well until I noticed that the fully charged batteries were being ignored and demand was met from the grid. I deselected the 0200 slot with the result that the battery was being used but at 0230 it switched to previous behaviour.
All was well the previous day which left the battery at 83% full.
I then briefly paused the Agile schedule and deselect all slots before unpausing. I may do a Quick charge if I am awake about 0400 to mitigate losses.
I have had no problems during the previous 10 days, the schedule is not in a held state and activity log seems in order
Grateful if you would let me know why schedule went off the rails.

I am unsure whether the fix was delivered but same problem manifesting itself again

The activity logs show no errors ;
0130 - 0400. Start SOC 53% all slots selected
Experienced no problems. Steady charge maintained from 53% to 99%

0400 - 0430
Battery stayed at 99% throughout and energy drawn from Grid
The second Activity log shows a period from 0430 - 0600 start SOC 99%

0430 - 0529 continued to ignore battery. I deselected all slots that were open. All energy needs coming from Grid

0500 - 0530. Energy needs being met from battery.

There is a 3rd activivity log which appeared while I was deselecting slots

This was only half an hour usage. We stopped the charge slot at 4:01, see here:

Now, unless you are drawing huge amounts of energy from 04:00-04:30, I wouldn't expect your battery to drop significantly at a nightly draw of 200-300W or such for 30 mins. Please check the Energy Trend graph in Growatt and show us that please, it should indeed show that the battery was used between 4 and 4:30.

ALLENPATTRICK 0430 - 0529 continued to ignore battery

You had an agile charge slot active from 4:30 to 6:00. Because the SOC of 99% is less than 100%, this charge slot was actioned.

If you want to use the battery in slots like these, you probably should lower your 'SOC less than' value in your Agile charge window to something like 98 or 97%.

Prior to 9 December I experienced no problems. I enclose graphs for 7th and 8th December. Both of these together with my journal show examples of charging to 100% with back to both back to back slots and series. I may have been unfortunate to have reached a high but not 100% target figure.
I will change the SOC as you suggest.

My interpretation has been ;-

If SOC equals or is greater than the specified value the condition is not satisfied and charging will not occur for that slot. I would then expect the system to continue using the battery to meet the consumer load assuming battery has sufficient charge.
If SOC is less than specified value I would expect charging to take place using Grid.

I am changing the SOC to 97%. Hopefully this should avoid further problems.

ALLENPATTRICK Thanks for digging those out.

Yep, looks like your battery was discharging between 4:00-4:30 and no grid importing (orange) happened.

As shown by the Discharging and Self consumption colours in the graph.
