johalareewi Just seen the prices for tomorrow. Wow! Not seen anything like that before. Not much sun forecast either. :( Perhaps we need some more colours...
WindyMiller Fingers crossed no server outages overnight. I really need a full charge to have any hope of getting through to 9.30pm when they drop below 30p. I've never seen a 95p - almost the capped value.
WindyMiller WindyMiller Of course I should have kept my mouth shut. Tomorrow has five slots at 99.99p!
jjb Over the last month they have got a lot worse to the point that I am thinking of switching back to flux
admin johalareewi ha, I like it. Maybe just disable them by default? π€£π€£ βDonβt be a fool and charge your battery at these prices!β
johalareewi Just had an email from Octopus about a Saving Session today 6pm-7pm. I will definately be doing that!
johalareewi My average p/Kwh for Tuesday 10th was 21.397 Can't do yesterday yet, no meter reading data available from Octopus. Batten down the hatches for today.
johalareewi Still no Octopus Agile meter data since 10th December. Either on "my usage" or via data download. Has anyone else get any smart meter data since 10th Dec? Have emailed Octopus support.
johalareewi I now have yesterday's data (12th) but still nothing for the 11th. I have checked with other family members and they have data for the 11th (but are not on Agile). Average import price for yesterday was 30.10p/kWh :/
Kevin Thought I'd bump this post having looked at today's rates! Almost the whole day purple and 7 slots @ Β£1 /kwh π¬ Praying that the sun decides to pop out from behind the clouds π Has someone broken the energy market?
johalareewi Hoping for sun too but not much at the moment. Just enough PV to cover 80% of our base load. If this keeps up for a few days it would pay to switch back to flux. π
johalareewi johalareewi Got some solar and battery lasted most of the day. Averaged 18.56 p/kWh for the electricity imported. We did move some of our white goods usage to the next day. Hope we don't get too many more of these. Battery can only last about 9 hours without any solar to help out.
