My givenergy inverter is connected by ethernet. But discovered by pure chance today that it was broadcasting an SSID (same number as the inverter id) and acting as an unsecured access point to my network. So if you see an unsecured WiFi site showing as available and the number is the same as your inverter id then you have the same issue. Unbelievable!!!!! Awaiting support to get it switched off but if anyone knows how to get in to the settings for that meantime please let me know. Thanks

MrMessy Thanks. Tried all manner of dip switch combinations but fundamentally if WiFi was off then Lan was off too. Need to get hold of the dip switch settings guide from the installation manual. Oh for a good old paper manual like I have for the boiler.

MrMessy Actually have managed to find my way in to the inverter WiFi software via the network address as the passwords were still all set to defaults. So everything is now shut down. Thanks for your help though.
