Charging instructions seem incorrect.

Hi
I set the schedule to discharge from 10.30 for 30 mins then charge until 4pm and then discharge at half power. It started charging at 11am then stopped after 30 minutes. I asked GivEnergy and their view was the WW were sending some odd settings. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks

WW has set 1100-1600 charge. With a target of 0%.
Why would they do that.

I havent changed the way I use WW but it does seem to behaving oddly. GivEnergy logged on to fix it but I tried a quick test earlier before they intervened and the WW settings sent didn’t seem to make sense to me (that’s not unusual lol).

Also I see the WW schedule has lost all the charge setting after midday again. I’m not sure what’s going on. It was set to charge all day up to 4pm then discharge. I checked it twice. Now it’s reverted and dropped the slots that were previously selected.

Obiwan Doesn't sound right. Find below our detailed logs for the charge instruction and including the charge target set to 100. For the 11:00-16:00 slot.

Giv can see this in their own logs too, if they check the transaction ID: bcSnBFLf - which they can find in the Giv inverter log instruction in question.

If you check in your Giv Dashboard - My Inverter, then top right hand option (the cogwheel) for Remote Control, and you should see the instruction log at the bottom of that page. You can locate the instructions with the bcSnBFLf IDs yourself there.

You will see we sent the 100% charge target around 11:00 (at 10:58).

Did you make these selections yourself? Which ones had you selected? We run the auto-population at around 16:35 - could that be the time your selections were overwritten? We did put a fix in for that sometime ago.

Thanks for all this much appreciated. I will check with them tomorrow. I made the selections that have been deleted myself as far as I can recall. My strategy is to charge cheaply usually in the early hours and then not discharge until 4pm if that make sense? I am happy to be corrected/advised 😊

Obiwan Thanks Paul, yeah, your strategy seems sensible.

We tend to recommend setting your Agile slots at around 16:35 after WW has populated based on your settings.

As for the weird instruction Giv seems to see, we got the evidence we sent a 100% charge target, so if they could point out the WW instruction transaction ID, where they think we sent 0% charge target, that would be good. I'd be surprised if they can locate it...
