This is a new problem likely caused by recent changes in WW. My schedule last night included charge and hold slots as usual. The discharge values written by WW were out of range and gave GE errors at the inverter. I have attached the GE log to show. The last entry was me correcting the discharge current before the higher cost slots arrive.

There are really three problems highlighted...

  1. Bad value of -104 sent for charge and discharge currents (probably -1 in the register) which were not properly validated at the WW end.
  2. Multiple attempts to write these bad values to the inverter before WW gave up (can't be good for the inverter).
  3. No indication of any problem in the WW log.

Please can you correct this as the use of hold slots will be compromised.

Thank-you.

WindyMiller Thanks for the detail, looking at this now.

We're reverting the snapshot mechanism we introduced last week for the time being. Sometimes the reads throw issues and as a result weird values get sent. This has now been deployed, please feedback, thank you.

We'll likely introduce specific charge/discharge rates within WW to manage this. (Differently to the Advanced section values you see)

    Hold at 11am worked correctly...

...but messed up the end of hold at 4pm. So I manually reset charge and discharge currents to 3000W.

WindyMiller Thanks - the section that performs the charge rate % to absolute numbers conversion (for Giv reset charge rates) was accidentally removed with our snapshotting reverts.

Fix should be rolled out in next 10 mins.

        Apologies for the inconvenience!
