Hi, just trying out Wonderwatt, it's pretty cool, but it seems to miss charging cycles now and again. My guess is that maybe the inverter is temporarily offline for you, but I don't see anything in the logs. For example, I have charging cycles in line with Octopus Cosy, 4-7am, 1-4pm, 10pm-12pm. Missed charging cycle (Octopus Cosy)?

Hi, just trying out Wonderwatt, it's pretty cool, but it seems to miss charging cycles now and again. My guess is that maybe the inverter is temporarily offline for you, but I don't see anything in the logs.

For example, I have charging cycles in line with Octopus Cosy, 4-7am, 1-4pm, 10pm-12pm.

The 4am went fine, but it seems the 1pm today was skipped. In the activity logs I see:

danhaywood Unfortunately the WW log misses a lot of detail that you may be able to find in the GE log. You can get to this via the GE web portal (https://givenergy.cloud/dashboard). Click on the 'My Inverter' tab then look for the gear wheel top right called 'Remote Control' (might be under the three dots on a smaller screen). At the top is a click button called 'Jump to logs'. Once you get to the logs there are switches to 'Filter errors' and 'Filter same value responses'. Turn both of these off and you'll see all the commands getting to your inverter - WW ones and GE ones. Timeouts and offline messages will show here if they are occurring.

Much as @WindyMiller suspected....

danhaywood You have those schedules set as "One Off" schedules, which is why they do get deactivated.

One-off schedules are there to allow people to set one-off schedules that aren't recurring without having to remember to toggle them to Active=off.

So you should turn:

Oh, and also - I find it a bit confusing that the "active" toggle gets switched for each schedule as the day progresses. It seems instead to indicate the next one to be scheduled by WonderWatt. My interpretation of "active" was something different: to allow me (as the user) to enable or disable the schedules without deleting them. Could you clarify?

danhaywood The active schedule should remain on for all three of your schedules unless you have set them as a one off schedule. At least it does for me.

OK, thank you both... user error, it would seem.

As a small UI suggestion, perhaps the table of schedules could be enhanced to indicate whether the schedule is a one-off or is recurring? I probably wouldn't have made the mistake if that was more visible?
