Moving Agile to IOG

I have GivEnergy Gen1 inverter & batteries
Have been using Agile but yesterday moved to IOG. I'm having problems with Octopus adding devices. So far batteries & e/v not added and following up with Octopus.

Does that change need to be made in Octopus app prior to update of WW?

I tried to add IOG to WW but it's failing. Do I need to do something to "switch" Agile to IOG in WW?

Tima441 You will need your Octopus account number and API key adding to your Intelligent Settings.

Obviously deactivate any Agile charge windows.

And you need a compatible EV charger or car that Octopus can control, so we can pick up the mapped charges from them.

Tima441 The batteries/inverter are irrelevant for IOG, as far as Octopus are concerned.

Which EV and charger do you have?

Both should be OK but so far not registering

@MrMessy @admin thanks for help. I think I've got it now.

Problem was I have 2 Zappi registered on the account.. at 2 different addresses. Did not realise it cannot recognise correctly. So removed the less important one.

Not sure if I can add back the other zappi - or may cause clash. Will test when all settled down

Tima441 Yep, that'll be it. Once you're up any running on IOG, you'll be fine to add the 2nd one back in your MyEnergi account.

MrMessy yes, that seems to have worked. Thanks. All seemed a bit clunky by Octopus - but got there in the end!

Will see how it all settles down.

Tima441 the problem with more than one Zappi (or any other brand for that matter), is Octopus doesn't know which one it's picking because the initial link up is just via your MyEnergi account and you can only have one linked (controlled) device with IOG.
I know people who have 2 Zappis at the same address. Octopus is linked to one and the 2nd effectively becomes a dumb charger/timer.

MrMessy I guess I would've thought it could connect to whichever charger had a car connected. I would not expect that to be toooooo tricky! Especially where only one at same address.. on same power supply... using same Internet. Maybe in a year or 3!
But all good now so it's fine.
