Settings in WW - can i leave everything in Shineapp/inverter app

I have set up my schedules in WW and linked to IOG, do i need to disable all schedules in my shineapp which is my inverter app to prevent conflict then just cross my fingers all will work, or can i leave them in place and WW will overwrite ?

Couldnt see this in the FAQ , so apologies if it is there.

khrisjun WW should overwrite, but will only typically use one of your slots. I think it may be slot 3 we are overwriting for Growatt.

So the instruction could fail if there is an overlapping instruction in any other slot. Better to disable them if you have others lying around.

Thankyou - I need to turn on notifications as completely missed this reply. I have noticed WW has cleared all my schedules anyway so that is OK.

During my trial period, WW was funcitoning as expected and i was really pleased with it. It seemed to fail to communicate with inverter once or twice but only while trying to set my export in a pre IOQ time period, so limited impact.

However now ive signed up for a years subscription, last night i had my first impactful failure. there was repeated failure to communicate with inverter to set charging on my battery from 23:30 to 05:30 🇦

This meant the battery didnt charge during IOG cheap time and battery had completely discharged overnight.

Luckily i spotted this around 7am this morning, plugged my car in and managed to get some cheap slots. WW didnt set a charge schedule so i set a quick charge, then WW picked up the IOQ schedule and set it to charge until 09:30, however then it cut out around 07:45, and i had to set another quick charge as per:

Is there anything that could be done to lock in a 23:30 to 05:30 slot ? if WW only uses slot 3 for its variable updates, could we have a permanent 23:30 to 05:30 in another slot and then never update to overlap timeslots - if a user did a manual charge/discharge etc then it could wipe the other slot and return it the next day or similar.

Is there anything i can do to help avoid what happened last night? I think losing the overnight charge will have cost me more than any savings ive made so far using WW.

It looks like there was an issue with the Growatt API - see detailed logs below. Likely a temporary but nevertheless annoying glitch.

Thanks for the info/log - Reminds me of the app,that one is terrible for being able to set schedules.
Hopefully just a one off, fortunately its a sunny day so topping up the batteries now in prep for saving session export later.
