Pretty Annoyed That Battery Charge Settings Didn't Revert

Signed up for a trial. When the trial expired wonderwatt just stopped sending any kind of charge command to my system so my battery sat dangerously flat for several days until I realised that Wonderapp had overwritten the charge settings on my growatt battery. This might have been expected but I didn't get a email or any notification that this would be the case.

I like the app but it's obviously still in its development stage and the subscription pricing is more than I make from my solar panels each month.

used-evidence It's difficult to know what to reasonably set it to, especially with users having multiple charge schedules set up.

Does the growatt API not allow you to read the current configuration?
If so you could stick in a json file to rollback to in the event of subscription cancellation etc.

Either way I think an email notification would be a good idea.

Not really, no. It's very much not a public or a documented API. Writing certain settings is more straightforward than reading.
