IoG scheduled export failed

I have a scheduled export every day which has been working as expected. Today it failed.

I realised around 4pm and set a quick export for 120mins. Instructions accepted but appears to have failed.

So I set a forced export from the GivEnergy app at 4.30pm which is working fine.

We can wait and see tomorrow if it works if you prefer.

Tima441 What regular export schedule? What time were you expecting this to kick in pls?

Looks like you have an export set from 10:00 - 18:30?

But looks like you have the car plugged in and received IOG slots, since then which have triggered and charged the battery instead. See from your activity log:

admin many thanks- my apologies I thought I had stopped IOG slots. I normally do this by physical disconnect or stopping charging in Myenergi app. Somehow it was not done.

On a related question is that something I could effectively automate/schedule via WW? I guess my thought would be in my case

scheduled pause to IOG charging slots say 08.00 to 20.00 daily
While allowing my scheduled discharge 10.00 to 18.30 to still take place
Does that sound practical/useful? I can raise as feature request in a new ticket if you prefer.

Such discharge is useful during all days outside heating season while overnight charging is 7p vs day export at 15p and is not dependent on sun

Even if you pause the WW/IOG integration, if Octopus issue IOG slots (because your EV is plugged in), you risk your battery export going straight to your EV, which would be self defeating.

MrMessy that's a good point and something that would need to be watched. But can be managed if the battery has reached its target - whether 100% or a lower target.
