Grid Import

Every day around 05.30 I get a spike in grid import of 3kW. It only amounts to about 200 watts, but with the current sunny weather it’s the only grid import of the whole day. Is there any way to stop it?

ChrisR you're on IOG right? So 05:30 would be the default switching point from the standard overnight cheap period.
Are you actually getting any consumption at this point, or is it just the graphs showing a spike at a switch in commands?
Bear in mind that the GE charts only have a 5 min resolution.

No consumption, it just seems to briefly whack 3kW into the battery. It only amounts to around 200w. If the battery is already full it doesn’t happen.

ChrisR When idle WW leaves charge enable on with a start time set to 0:00 and an end time set to 0:00. On my GE inverter this gives me 1 minute of charging at midnight at 3kW which equates to 50Wh. Using the GE app and the settings menu have a look to see if your charge remains enabled with both start and stop set to 5:30am (different to mine as I'm on Agile and you're on IOG).

WindyMiller Thanks, I’ve solved this by turning off timed charge in the GE App. Last nights import was a mere 10Wh, compared with the 200Wh on previous nights.
