Granny charger and Octopus

While I wait for a Zappi, I am using a granny charger with my ID3. It won’t connect up to Octopus devices and so IOG still not working correctly with you and still working of the Agile slots. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Seand what happens when you try to connect your id3 to octopus?
Do you get any error messages on the octopus or VW apps?
As you're trying to connect the EV, have you got a decent mobile signal?

Doesn't IOG need a proper EV charger to work?
If you are using a granny charger, you might want to look at plain Octopus Go. You get a defined low cost EV charging period which allows you to program EV charging with a granny cable using a suitable timer. You can switch to IOG when your Zappi arrives.
I did similar (using Flux) when my Ohme Pro died.

johalareewi charger or EV needs to be compatible.
The ID3 should be, so can use any charger in dumb mode, or a granny lead.
Charger integration is normally better and more reliable, as you can the charge any EV intelligently, plus EV manufacturers (Tesla, BMW, VW, Kia) have a habit of messing with their API.
