Hi Wim @admin
WWID: zany-sound
Note: I have no direct solar input into my setup. So I rely fully on grid charging to fulfil my battery charging needs.
I wonder if I might check something with you, please, because I am consistently seeing underperforming charge rates on my setup. Due to my DNO restrictions, I have to reduce my Charge / Discharge rate to be in line with my G99 allocation of 5kW down from the actual 6kW of both the Battery/Inverter setup.
Dutifully, I have therefore altered my Inverter & Battery settings >> Battery rate to be the MAX I am allowed: 5kW
This does as expected on Discharges and keeps the Export rate at or thereabouts the desired value.
Now comes my issue, that I am seeing. I have altered the Correction factors >> Charge rate to be > 1.00 using steps of 0.1 [10%] as described in the guidance. I am up to 1.8 [80%] and yet again tonight, I see a Charge Rate of at least 5% lower than it needs to be to fully charge my AIO in the time window of my IOG overnight 23:30 - 05:30.
I completely drained the battery before the window to prove this absolutely this time. [Reserve of 4% withstanding].
As per my WW LOG, the current charge rate was set to 40%
Yet, just some simple math 13.5kW / 6 hours = 2.25kW
and 5kw * 40% [my WW set values] means I would miss my charge to 100% by at least 10% - even with a Correction Factor >> Charge Rate of 1.8
Something is either amiss with my understanding, or WW is not taking any notice of this correction factor. Please advise. Thanks in advance
