WW incompatible?

I've just had a 2nd All-In-One battery installed in my Givenergy system. It's not working properly. GivEnergy are blaming WonderWatt and claiming it's not compatible. Anyone know anything more? It doesn't make sense to me as WW is just making calls to their API. How can it be incompatible? Sounds like an excuse to me.
I've reset the api key in WW to disable it for now. Then I'll wait for the next excuse.

PeteC I think you may need 2 WW accounts for this, to manage the 2 inverters in tandem.

Perhaps @admin could advise?

PeteC So this is not a dual AOI with a Gateway set up?

PeteC We have other users on dual AIO set ups that are just fine. We pick up the Gateway and send instructions to the Gateway serial instead.

What is your WattID please? So we can check to see what's going on in a bit more detail, thanks.

What specifically? What serial is showing when you reconnect from the Settings page?

As far as I'm aware it's the dynamic charge rate that currently cannot be set, as we need to use percentage settings. This was mentioned in another thread.

Apart from that, everything should be working.

Sorry, I was cross with GivEnergy when I posted. I don't think it's a WonderWatt problem at all. They've asked me to disable WW until it's working properly. What they are going to do to fix it, I don't know. The system doesn't respond to any commands entered on app or website. Batteries only charge from solar, then discharge until one is flat. They are not balanced at all. They've asked for 24 hours to resolve. I'm withholding payment to the installer until resolved - seems a bit unfair as their work has been great. Maybe some more instructions would have been useful.

Right, yeah it sounds like a Giv issue if the system does not respond to commands. A bit cheap of them to straightaway blame WW and say it's not compatible, when we're simply using their API and have plenty of happy Giv customers, even with dual AIO set-ups!
