Have we run out of space to store forum images on imgur.com or is there some regional setting that's incorrect?

Edit: I can see what's happened. This is posted on the Imgur site...

Imgur access in the United Kingdom
From September 30, 2025, access to Imgur from the United Kingdom is no longer available. UK users will not be able to log in, view content, or upload images. Imgur content embedded on third-party sites will not display for UK users.

I think this might be an unintended consequence of the GDPR regulations.

admin Yes. According to a BBC News article Imgur have blocked UK users because of a notice of intent to fine them for not complying with UK rules regarding child safety duties. If that's true I'd rather they were not used to host forum images.

GE seem to host their own images on Amazon Web Services. Is this a possibility or is it expensive?

This morning I could see images again on the threads then it all went dark again (so to speak) is this still being worked on?

duplada I think that's just the browser still having some images in the cache to be honest.

First thing (before the discharge/charge separation!) - is fixing this image stuff for the forum. We'll get a dedicated proxy out and do some URL rewriting...

Yes understood images are very important. I have held off posting something for you to look at, an image is worth a thousand words and all that.

duplada Img proxy now live. Images should be shown now and uploads are possible too. Ignore the previews when posting/uploading, they will be rewritten correctly when viewing the posts.

You may need to clear your browser cache to view images on posts.

Cleared my cache, can see your graphic above, but for me I cannot paste or choose a file to upload just receive the "Error" on the message on the upload button?

Spot the problem, though I think you may have corrected it already.

Late last night I was examining my Portal log and I noticed that the Dual AIO Inverter Power Percentage Charge & Discharge Percentage commands worked for a period on the 30th September they then reverted to sending the Battery Power commands. Then from then 11:56 today my charge schedule has issued the correct command again, though the Export schedule that preceded it issued no Power / Battery power command whatsoever.

Still not working for me. I can see the images others have posted but pasting goes through the motions but nothing appears apart from ERROR box
Happens with clipboard paste and file upload
Browser = Opera (windows)

johalareewi Have you cleared your browser cache and/or used incognito? Pretty sure this is now purely down to cached JS files.
