@"admin"#p8814 Yes. According to a BBC News article Imgur have blocked UK users because of a notice of intent to fine them for not complying with UK rules regarding child safety duties. If that's true I'd rather they were not used to host forum images. GE seem to host their own images on Amazon Web Services. Is this a possibility or is it expensive? at https ://givenergy-community-forum-uploads.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com although their image upload process is not very reliable.

This morning I could see images again on the threads then it all went dark again (so to speak) is this still being worked on?

@"duplada"#p8827 I think that's just the browser still having some images in the cache to be honest. First thing (before the discharge/charge separation!) - is fixing this image stuff for the forum. We'll get a dedicated proxy out and do some URL rewriting...

Yes understood images are very important. I have held off posting something for you to look at, an image is worth a thousand words and all that.

@"duplada"#p8839 Img proxy now live. Images should be shown now and uploads are possible too. Ignore the previews when posting/uploading, they will be rewritten correctly when viewing the posts. Cleared my cache, can see your graphic above, but for me I cannot paste or choose a file to upload just receive the "Error" on the message on the upload button?

johalareewi yeah, some kind of caching then for sure. Will sort itself out over the next week or so hopefully.

I couldn’t see what you posted but a refresh solved it. But looks like you were able to post it successfully anyway.

When I click on https://community.wonderwatt.com/ and then click on a thread with images the images are still pointing to imgur and I get content not viewable. However if I then refresh the thread the image server changes to https://imgapi.wonderwatt.com/ and I can see the images

This is on Chrome where there is some subtle difference between viewing the thread alone (bottom picture which has worked) and viewing the thread in the list. (top picture which hasn't worked).

PS Cache etc. has already been cleared.

The thing is though, its very annoying, long term its going to be a real pain, and like it or not for visitors and new users its not a good look is it?

duplada Yeah, totally get that, but at the same time, we use a third party for our forum so we have limited control over this.

admin OK so after I posted my logs above yesterday I had 4 schedules to run overnight

You will notice there are no Power commands being sent for the 2 export schedules and the system has reverted to sending the Battery Power command rather than Inverter Charge Power Percentage command for charge schedules

I meant to ask you also, on my screen capture of the portal commands when WW reads the power settings it doesn't attribute them to a call from WW why is that?

WindyMiller It should now all be working, we did discover another URL route that was not rewriting img URLs yet.

admin Yes I think I saw that change whilst composing a message on another thread. When I started the images had an imgur URL but by the end adding images went to imgapi. Let's hope it is now sorted for good :-)
