I'm sorry for the basic questions but I thought you would all be able to help answer these questions in one place 🙏

I've finally turned on IOG for my Tesla after years of having it off due to it draining my batteries, but now thanks to WW controls I can take the IOG tarrifs throughout the day!

When a session has been created for IOG and my car charges, does that mean all my electricity is at the IOG rate or is it just the car?
If it's the former I'm assuming I can charge my batteries at the same time (is there a way to set this in WW)

Exactly, Octopus will not know the difference. The rate will be cheap for the duration of your assigned IOG slot(s).

Yep - go to https://app.wonderwatt.com/intelli-octo - and add your Octopus account number and API key. And configure the settings in that section. Make sure to toggle the schedule to Active.

Great. I thought that was the case.

I've set it all up now.

Only thing I've noticed, and seems like a known issue I'm going to have to keep on eye on. The Tesla when plugged in will start charging straight away. It's supposed to stop once IOG sets schedules and connects.. but could be between 1 and 30 mins!

1 to 5 mins of peak charge while it sorts itself out isn't the end of the world, but more than that will start to add up fast!!
