1) Yes. WW pulls the slot info from the Octopus API. As the slots are dynamic and could change when you're not looking (sneaky buggers), WW requests this info frequently (every 5 mins I think), and makes changes as necessary.
2) Yes. Any 1/2hr slot that has a schedule in in, even for only 1 minute, will be charged at 7p/kWh
eg. schedule for 09:59-10:01, would have 09:30-10:30 billed at 7p/kWh
3) HOLD means your battery will neither charge nor discharge during the active period.
ACTIVE you need to toggle ON, assuming you want WW to manage your battery during any IOG periods, I don't know why you wouldn't.
rustypole Right now my GivEnergy All in One is fully charged but I'm still pulling electric from the grid and I don't know why. I would have thought I would be using electric from the GivEnergy All in One as its charged.
As you're in the middle of a charging period, ALL electric will be coming from the grid (at 7p/kWh).
This is how mine is set (I think this is what you're after from reading your posts), the EV isn't plugged in atm, so just the default hours showing.
