Battery configuration with Growatt

Hi,

I realise this may be an installation query but hopefully someone can help. To jump straight to the problem I can't see my battery on the plant's shinephone app dashboard (only grid and solar). Is there a way to enable this or will it require additional CT clamps?

I currently have a Growatt min 3600TL-X inverter with a 10kWh puredrive AC battery. This is all monitored via the puredrive app and they offer an import only VPP (virtual powerplant) solution based on tariff, usage and weather however it doesn't give me the control I would like nor any ability to export to the grid (they have recently added scheduled charging). I can monitor in real time where power is being transmitted to and the SOC of the battery.

In order to try out wonderwatt with the octopus agile integration I purchased a Growatt shinewifi-x and have this now working albeit without the battery. Obviously I need the battery to do anything useful. I'm also wondering, even with additional CT Clamps, how would the inverter know what the battery SOC is?

I look forward to hearing any suggestions and hopefully getting wonderwatt functional soon.

AP1 Hi,

This sounds like you have a basic Growatt string inverter, which isn't connected to your Puredrive battery.

Your Puredrive battery likely has its own built-in inverter and is some all-in-one solution.

We don't currently support Puredrive, so unfortunately you won't be able to use Wonder Watt with your current setup.

Oh ok, that's a shame but appreciate your quick response.
I know Puredrive have either an SDK or an API that would be suitable for integrating such a service if you would like me to put you in touch with their software engineer. For example axle energy have an integration to support saving session events.
