  • Export schedule - Failed to set inverter schedule for export to grid.

I have recently installed Growatt SPH5000 and Battery stack with PV on Octpus Agile which WW works wonderfully for charging.

However, everytime WW tries to set an export it fails with this message.

The charging schedule doesn't overlap with export schedule.

Doesn't that mean that unless your battery is charged to 99% and there's 10kWh of ssolar gain forecast for the next day then it won't meet the criteria so won's set a schedule?

I have GE but the text will apply to both I guess. ‘Required SOC’

No, thats the state of charge when WW goes to set the export schedule.
My Required SOC is 75%, and Stop export at 40%.

felmer Thanks, it looks like we cannot set the export instruction. Growatt API returns an error message.

If there are no conflicting schedules, have you been able to set a Grid First time slot instruction recently through the Growatt dashboard/portal?

Ah, thx for the tip to test export manually. Indeed it fails, so not a WW issue. I'll get onto Growatt support.

Found the cause of the export schedule failing to set: I have an Export Limit set on my SPH inverter of 60%. When I disabled this setting I could then manually set the grid first setting. I'll leave it off and will check that the WW export schedule works tomorrow.

I have asked Growatt support if its expected that grid first can't be set when there is an export limit configured.

felmer Cool, great you found out what was causing it.

To complete the thread, Growatt support confirmed that "grid first" (aka export) cannot be configured if there is an export limit set. Typically an export limit is used to restrict the amount of power exported to the grid if the PV/battery/inverter system is capable of exporting more than is allowed by the grid installation.

            felmer Hi
            Did you solve this?
could it not export 60% or under?
