“Pause schedules” settings ignored?

I signed up to wonderwatt yesterday but wasn’t sure it was going to do what I wanted - so I paused the one schedule I had setup for an 8 slot Agile octopus window between 00:00 and 23:59

I made changes to my GE inverter manually through the GE app

But then WW seems to have over-ridden my charge settings on the GE app despite schedules being paused?

I had the battery manually charging during a low pricing window - and then WW stopped this?

The activity log shows

What’s not clear to me from the activity log: is the activity log just recording what WW has set / commanded - or is it just WW reading what was set on the inverter (by me, the GE app etc.)? if so, why was it doing if schedules were paused?

26left Hi, Schedules Paused at the moment has a bearing on the Custom Schedules section only, not Agile.

For Agile to be effectively paused, you need to change your Agile Charge window to inactive.

We probably should do this for you when you Pause schedules, good feedback, thanks - we'll get a fix out.

This would have been when you clicked 'Pause Schedules'. We basically disable charge and discharge schedules on the inverter too. Perhaps we should make that an additional option so people can make this choice.

admin thanks for the info - I understand now. But I had assumed that pause schedules included any agile windows.

A feature request if I may - rather than just cheapest N 30 mins slots - can there be an option for these to be contiguous? (Or are they by default?)

And then send a (email?) notification to say what hours WW has chosen? Then I’ll set my smart plug to charge the car with the same in parallel.

Eg the way Octopus Compare identifies the best start time for X hours of continuous charging.

26left The Pause functionality now applies to Agile schedules too. Available in release 444, along with some other fixes.

Good suggestion about continuous slots, thanks, we’ll add that to the list.
