Would it be possible to display the next days solar forecast alongside the Agile prices to help decide what charge slots are required?

MikeC Yeah we can certainly take a look at that. Could be a stop-gap feature towards more advanced forecasts, with hourly charts etc. on the dashboard.

We'd likely refresh these values only to a few times per day.

In fact, it makes sense to also display these values on the Home dashboard. Would be useful for other users (non Agile) too.

This post dates back to April. Has there been any development to show predicted forecast somewhere in the Dashboard as I'd like to use that to fine tune my Agile schedules i.e. predicted vs reality?

felmer Yeah, we are working on this. Aiming to get this out over the next few weeks.

This is a fantastic idea, however i’d like to see this developed into the automations that you can pre set in the other area of the app if you don't turn on the agile pricing. So the system knows to not charge the battery if the solar forecast is good for the next day. And follows you commands for battery charge percentage etc. So in short, allowing your pre set automation commands to override the agile pricing slots. I hope that makes sense?

JPWri Yeah, that's the idea, but first today's and tomorrows total forecast being displayed.

For the granular forecasts for say several hours, we need to use different weather API calls and calculate for a few hours in advance and store that (for each user), so there's quite a bit more work involved.
