  • Keeping battery at SOC level:77% during off-peak

Hi WonderWatt community
I have recently had this in my activity log every day at 14:56 and I can't work out where to turn this off. I have not requested that my battery is kept at a certain level, but what is happening is my battery is not receiving any more solar charge after 77% which is a real problem for me as I want it to fill up before the 4-7pm peak.

I have only set up schedules overnight on smart and the occassional just before 4pm charge to a fixed amount, and I do not select the use-battery off peak options available.

Any advice would be very gratefully received how I stop this happening every day.

Kind regards

phonlife Hi - it looks like your 'Prevent High Tariff use 4-7pm' schedule from 15:00-15:59 has a Fixed charge target set of 50%.

As a result, no action is taken, as your SOC was already above your configured target SOC.

So just modify that to 100% instead for your charge schedule and you should be OK. It also looks like you have toggled that schedule to inactive for now, just making sure you're aware.

Hang on, you can leave that alone, as you have selected Agile charge slots, correct? You should not need to use the custom import schedules under the Schedules section, but create an Agile charge window in the Agile Octopus section instead.

You could configure an Agile charge window from 14:00-16:00 and let WW select the cheapest 2 slots for instance.

Not having an Agile charge window set up, means WW won't select your slots automatically, and you will need to select them each day.

admin Ah I see - so of course if the SOC is above the fixed charge it prevents it going any higher - OK understood - will set to 100% so that doesn't happen. I hadn't appreciated this applied to solar charging as well as grid charging. Had assumed it would still take charge from solar even if above a minimum fixed SOC. I wanted a schedule so it wouldn't necessarily always take a grid charge only if below 50%. Now I understand it stops solar too I will revise my use of this accordingly.

Many thanks for your speedy response. Love this WonderWatt facility.
