PeteC Plugged in yes, otherwise you won't get dynamic charge slots assigned.
Not sure their answer makes sense. Example:
You plug your car in and get a charge block mapped from 10:30-12:00.
Your EV charges and hits 100% by 11:05. At a minimum, the smart meter only sends half hour usage blocks, so they can't charge you full price for 11:00-11:30.
But, unless the mapped charge (10:30-12:00) actually disappears from the mapped IOG slots, I have some doubts about their explanation.
Specifically, around the point where once your car hits the charge cap you set, there will be a remainder of the assigned slot(s) that are charged at full price?
If that is the case, I'm not sure how we can support IOG. Not on IOG myself, so can't try this out.
Unless we can query the vehicle(s) SOC via the Octopus API.
