What does charge rate refer to? I have scheduled grid to battery from 23.30-05.30 with 2.6KWh as the max charge and discharge rate. The schedule works but I don't understand the actual process. The log tells me started charging to 100% at a 55% charge rate - what's that? The actual charge seems to get the battery from 40% to 100% in 90 minutes which is a faster rate than I have entered in the settings. I'm not complaining but just want to understand if possible.

@"pdladds"#p3913 Your system might need recalibrating. Your battery (capacity of 8.19 kWh) was at 4% SOC. So in 6 off-peak hours, you needed 7.86 kWh top up to get you to 100%. That means 7.86/6 = 1.3kW rate to achieve your state of charge, with some margins here and there, results in roughly 55% of your current max charge rate of 2.6. If your SOC goes from 4% to 100% in 90 mins, your effective kW charge rate would be 5.24, which isn't accurate for your spec inverter, so I would suggest to get in touch with Giv. I wouldn't be surprised if you see some crazy quick drops in SOC percentage too....

admin somehow my 8.2kw battery was limited to 2.4kw. GE suggesting this was caused by timed charges and that a recalibration is required.

After 2 re-calibrations all good now - battery capacity actually higher than specified! My timed charge worked as intended although the inverter settings show as enabled without any time slots. Not sure timed discharge is working (need to check again tonight) - inverter settings show as disabled, presumably because enabling will turn ECO mode off. Does WW intervene to turn timed discharge on then off again once finished (to allow ECO mode to operate)??
