Would be great to introduce an export rate adjustment. At present force export is either current or 100%. Current tends to be 100% by default. There’s a good use case for exporting at a slower rate to reduce battery temperature when you force export.

I was asking for this too. Sometimes I just want to export for say 1 hour at 50% rate at peak time to offload a bit of battery but not max out the inverter when evening devices like the oven are on. The growatt app does this so I use that but it stops me fully moving over to WW.

Are there any plans soon to provide this? Nothing more than being able to set the charge or discharge rate yourself.

Is it hard to implement?

Hi @admin, I hope that you are well.
I finally have the ability to Export... long story. I am however struggling to Limit my Export from my AIO to a value I want to control. Was this implemented but I just cannot find it in the Release Notes or the interface. My Battery and Invertor both can export above what I am officially allowed to export according to my DNO G99 settings. However, I can drain the AIO in a little over two hours if I go at full bore and so I would like to limit my Export to a value that allows me to contribute to the full peak period 16:30 - 19:00 but still leave me enough in reserve so I do not end up pulling from the grid until my off-peak which in my case is 23:30
@MrMessy 's helpful calculator https://community.wonderwatt.com/d/934-wonderwatt-battery-discharge-cheat-sheet-unofficial was my starting point, but it misses the window completely if I enter 23:20 as my End time, so I made it much earlier to compensate. That left me with no SoC for the house in the evening, so I then upped the Stop SoC to a higher value, but then I find it misses the window depending on my usage during the day. For me, a fix would be just lower and controllable Export rate, whilst noting that if a sudden spike in consumption would end up pulling from the grid instead of discharging, but that for me, will be rare and I can adjust for those circumstances.

Can I chip in with my tuppence worth here, as it kind of overlaps something I was thinking about?

Currently, WW auto adjusts the end time of an export schedule if it will hit the min SoC.
What about an option to auto adjust export power, rather than time?
Then, in the setting section, you set the times, min SoC to start/finish, and toggles for adjust time and/or rate. 🤔

MrMessy While initially I like the idea, I guess there would be a danger that the calculated Rate of Export could be at times under the house load value, so in that case, you would still be Importing. No difference in reality to a set value, but just something to mindful of.

KristianS my intention was for it to be used to just squeeze that last little bit of juice out of the batteries at the end of the day.

So, for example, my last forced discharge looks like this...

Depending on what's happened previously, I could get to 22:54 with only 14% SoC, so it wouldn't run, thereby "losing" 2kW of export. I could overcome this by setting the "Required SoC" to say 10% but, as things currently stand, WW would calculate based on 14-5% and shorten the session by bringing forward the end time, potentially leaving a longer period with zero battery cover. An auto adjust on the discharge power, rather than the time period, would overcome this.

I realise it's a little nit-picky but, I thought it may be useful to have the option of either reduced power or reduced time.

I do get it. And choice is everything for those who want it. I suppose that one day, the management of our systems will become irrelevant because providers and energy companies will be so integrated that all this will become unnecessary.

For me, I suppose I wouldn't want to use all the remaining battery capacity in case there was a problem. One key component for me is that we experience a significant number of power cuts, so I tend not to let the AIO run that low in case it's just when we get one - because you know that will be when it happens!
