Hi, fairly new to all this, but I have 2 charging sessions setup, 00.00 to 05.00 (4 slots) and 14.00 to 16.00 (3 slots).

Both set to charge to 90%, afternoon one works fine, but for the last week or so, the overnight one stops at 51%, so battery is almost empty by the am peak.

Any ideas?

Diabloj Strange, looking at our detailed diagnostics, we correctly sent the charge instruction: 100% target between 03:30-05:00:

But perhaps you need more than 3 slots overnight?

Could be that this is something Giv needs to look at if the charge really doesn't get past 51%.

It is odd, got 51% by 1am and the following charge slots did nothing, even though, as you say, the command seems to have been sent

I tried a force charge last night on the GE app and that did nothing, so looks like a GE issue....

Diabloj Have you got this set to 50%? Worth refreshing the reading to double check.

Nope, 100%. Charges absolutely fine in the afternoon, it's the early morning with the issue.

GE's response at the moment is: It looks like the wonderwatt API could be stopping this, are you able to disable this to test this evening?

Yeah I'd love to be up at 2am to test if the manual charge will work......

Aha - having looked at the rest of the screen, charge 2 settings (which I'd given up with as the GE native interface is pretty terrible) is 51%.

think we might have solved it...

      Thank you MrMessy

Diabloj Odd, we did set the charge target percentage (setting 77: AC Charge Upper % Limit) to 100, as you can see from our logs above. Unless the setting in the Giv UI is another setting?

The enable/disable one was at 100.

This was in charge/discharge schedules (probably from before I used WW and was trying to get the GE interface working, which wasn't satisfactory at all). Don't think I set it to 51% mind.

Specifically it is Charge 2 settings - AC Charge 2 Upper SOC % Limit. I've reset to 100% for now.

Diabloj Ah yeah, the pesky other setting for AC Charge Upper limit with a number, associated with a specific slot.

We tend to only use the global setting, but it looks like individual timeslot settings on Giv are given priority over the global setting, 77 AC Charge Upper % Limit.

Diabloj my bad. My gen2 only has 1 AC charge slot, forgot the newer inverters had more charge/discharge options.
          Glad to got it sorted.

Yes - have 10 charge and discharge settings - doesn't mean they work properly though MrMessy! Hence me using WW...

Pleased to say that last night worked fine

I concur @Diabloj - the Charge/Discharge Schedules on the portal are a mess. There is only one in the app, but they are so cumbersome to manually set in the portal I gave up the 2nd time I went to use them. Thus my seeking out WW.
I also tried the Beta Octopus R&D labs, but again, was not particularly intuiative IMO.
