Battery switches itself off

A query please - Why does GivEnergy battery switch itself off after charging to 100% using wonder watt is there’s setting I’ve missed thanks

SueEdmond It shouldn’t. I presume you mean it wasn’t discharging to supply house load?

What is your WattID please? You can find it in the advanced section.

So we can check our diagnostic logs.

My nightly routine is battery set to charge on octopus 11.30 till 5.30 ,eddi heats water for a hour, all has of late been ok but it’s only when battery charges to 100% it seems to switch itself off
I did a fixed charge a while ago to 100% and it did it then so that’s why I use the smart charge but last night it did it again for some reason
Thanks for looking at my settings no doubt it’s something I have/ haven’t set correctly

SueEdmond Nothing at our end suggests any failures or weird settings at the end of your charge slot 5:30.

Can you go to the GivEnergy web dashboard, click on My Inverter on left hand side nav, then from the top right hand menu, click Remote Control.

And scroll all the way down to the bottom for the Logs, and could you screen shot that in here please?

And when you say 'switched off' - do you mean the battery is not discharging? Have you got the Eco mode enabled on your Giv inverter?

SueEdmond All looks good, can't see anything out of place.

When you said "Battery switches itself off", what do you see? It may be something that you might need to pick up with GivEnergy, as I can't see anything wrong.

The lights on the front are out so I have to push button on side to switch it back on then my dashboard displays charge level of battery etc and all is good again I have 3 batteries 2 x2.6 kw and 1 x9.5 kw it’s just the 9.5 that seems to go off
