Stop WW temporarily

There's a possibility I may be without a home internet connection for a couple of days next week.

What's the easiest way for me to temporarily suspend WW so that I don't get my inverter stuck doing something undesirable before I notice?

I was going to go with switch the IOG features off and pause my schedules, unless there's something else/better.

Thoughts?

MrMessy Just Pausing your Automations, applies to any schedule basically, including IOG.

Just be aware that WW will set any charge or discharge time back to 00:00-00:00 - so set any other schedule you want up on Giv side after pausing WW.

Can you not set up a hot-spot on your phone to mimic your WiFi, even just for your Inverter? Just a thought as a brief workaround

@KristianS Tested on Sunday successfully. Unfortunately, when I actually needed it last night, the weather was shocking and so my mobile signal (3) was pretty flaky, resulting in a couple of inverter timeout responses from WW.

The problem we have, which is entirely of my own making, is our home broadband is a 4G modem with EE sim (we're out in the sticks, no fibre, fixed line 2Meg max), for which I buy a 15month pre-loaded sim, except I forgot to order the new one in time, doh!
Should be all fixed by this afternoon.

MrMessy I have for the last seven years been a 4G remote - with dual DrayTek Vigor WAN router capabilities, which has had a mixed success rate.
I now - for the last few months have moved wholesale to Starlink and it is just brilliant! Much much better and more reliable than even 2 x 4G routers and simplified my cost profile. I am just waiting for the 2nd contract to time out and then I will be cost neutral but a much happier remote - in the sticks user :D

KristianS fortunately, we haven't had to resort to Starlink, it seems pretty pricey, but I can see how it would suit some.
We get a fairly solid 30-40Meg on 4G, which is more than sufficient for our needs and at £200 for 15 months, it's difficult to see me swapping.

Added bonus, the new SIM arrived today.😄

MrMessy Yes, by no means the cheapest. But the typical download speed is 100Mb - 160Mb at approx 30-40ms latency and it has been by far more reliable than 4G for me. But depends how far you are from the mast etc. But both locations I have lived have had challenges in that space, so for me, the cost is comparable to two 4G contracts but is by far a clear winner
