I submitted a request for a short 20 minute boost for a final preparation for today’s demands. The activity log c.1000 shows that it was submitted. Growatt shows the request in the queue for 0656. Perhaps the request was received too late and might run tomorrow ??
However, further analysis showed that whilst the battery was not being charged the consumer demand was being met by an import.

ALLENPATTRICK The charge instruction was sent at 6:36 and was due to finish at 6:56. Your Growatt inverter should have actioned the received instruction.

Many thanks. I think that it is probably the 5 minute polling of Growatt reports which has been misleading especially in a 20 minute interval when SOC was unchanged. Spurious results are a daily occurrence with Growatt. The short charge was a boost from about 95% to fill the battery and the extra charge was probably only sufficient to satisfy the usage in the period.

I have selected Quick Schedules over last couple of days with longer intervals without problems but will make more allowance for Growatt in the future and even more confidence in WW product.
