Can you tell us about it first, so I know how you're going to charge the battery under what circumstances... For instance, I would suspect per half hour depending on the price of the input at that time, charging at the lowest prices during the day and making sure there is enough charge in battery for the peak time. That means charging perhaps many times during the day to get the absolute lowest tariffs. That will then look something like this - the reason they're greyed out is because the time is in the past: [URL=https://i.imgur.com/U5CcBmX.png][IMG]https://i.imgur.com/U5CcBmXh.png[/IMG][/URL] Which means 4 separate charge slots would be sent to the inverter prior to the start time of each of those 4 contiguous blocks. You can also easily select and deselect slots and Save your changes for scheduling. Does that make sense?

Auto import when prices fall below a user defined value… definitely!

This is now available in version v0.3.275 and above.

It can be configured in Advanced Settings, and will be applied to any slots inside or outside your defined Agile charge window(s) that meet the price criteria.

By default, this is set to 0, so Wonder Watt will automatically pre-select negative price slots for all users that have Agile Octopus set up.

Couple of newbie questions, sorry!

I've configured the Octopus Agile section and set two charge windows. Do I need to use the normal schedule section at all?

When I set my charge windows the slots became selectable below, but none of them were auto selected, including the ones below the threshold I set in advanced settings. Have I don't something wrong here?

Edit: reading back through the thread in more detail I think I've understood the following.

If I set a charge window with 6 slots and don't select any manually, WW will select them for me at 11pm?

I don't need the other schedule section, just the agile one filled out.

If I set 6 slots and select some manually, what happens if I select more than 6? It will use the cheapest?

If this is your first day then highlight the ones you want. (Add charge button) Set up similar to mine below and you should be ok - if they are coloured they will work.
I leave mine as below everyday and I get a full battery at best agile price each night.

Yep, runs at 16:15 and around 23:00 and pre-populates any active Agile charge windows that don’t have any slots selected against them yet.

Basically to not overwrite changes/overrides that users have made.

The schedule section can be left - use it to load back to the grid.

I have set the window to 00:00 - 23:58 and selected 17 30-min slots. This will cover all the lowest sections through out the day, mostly between 00:00 and 8:00. However, if the sun isn't out i tend to run out of battery about noon time so need to top up battery now and then before the peak period, so is why I have window set for all day.

Of course i am manually setting this charge schedule throughout the day too as needed.

You know what would be great on the agile charge schedule page. In the top corner your current home battery level that renews as you refresh the page. Something like "Battery Charging/Discharging 54%" in coloured text! That would save having to open the giv energy app/portal all the time see what level your home battery is. Is that possible?

Gazzagreen We'll take a look. We don't want to stray too much into the realm of displaying realtime info, charts etc. (much better tools out there for that!) as we're more about taking control of smart inverter schedules, but appreciate that this could be a useful addition.

Hi, my slots have not auto allocated since selecting to automatically import anytime it falls below 5p on the advanced tab?? Is this blocking selection of any slots above that price? I thought that it should choose slots as normal but also force select any that fell below the price I had set??? Sorry, this should be on the agile thread!

Bouff34 The routine ran a bit later than 16:15 initially - might have been around 16:45, and by that time, because you had selected some individual slots already, pre-selection was skipped.

Didn't manage to get it working last night because I hadn't given the correct API Key permissions, think i had it set to inverter only but saw another thread here and adjusted, ran a test and its working now so that's good!

Auto export for saving sessions, so when I opt in, we force an export so I don’t need to login and set it up. I have home assistant already opt me in via api, great if I could setup the matching export. I guess you may need my api key for octopus to check for a saving session for my account

So my battery didn't charge last night and can't work out why. The slots were all set, it did a charge at 2330 as set, but then nothing after. Nothing in the activity log, not even errors.

We identified an issue with some users' Agile schedule which messed up the scheduler routine. Fix rolling out now.
