In the IOG settings, if you were to activate the Smart Charge To %, is that % applicable to ALL IOG slots including the default nightime one or is it just applicable to the extra slots you get if you plug in your car outside thise hours?

I imagine a situation where to preserve your battery health, you may not want to charge the battery to 100% on the extra slots (say you were after some extra cheap eelctricity during the day but not necesarily 100%) but you may WANT to charge it to 100% on the default overnight schedule.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Yes, the "Charge to" currently applies to the default IOG window as well as the individual ad-hoc slots.

It's tricky, because you could get an ad-hoc slot assigned that starts at 21:30 and finishes at 23:30 when your default IOG slot starts.

We may need to implement a similar thing to what we do with the adjustment for IOG charge rate, we ignore it, if the assigned IOG charge slots is a block of less than 90 minutes.

We could have a seperate setting of "Charge to" for blocks less than 90 mins. Which would not apply to the default IOG slot.

We're equally quite conscious of not littering too many settings and options that may make things confusing.

Sounds sensible....whatever you decide you might want to maintain the "battery is charging" toggle on as otherwise the EV will drain it if there is a non IOG slot in between as Octopus often does leave gaps between 30 minutes slots.

michaelm It would still exactly match each IOG slot, but just have a different target SOC depending on <=90 mins vs >90 mins.
