Tima441 Tima441 to avoid charging during high price slots I've changed GE app to "normal" and reduced discharge rate to try and minimise discharge. (For some reason it continues discharge at abot 760w but I think that's unrelated. We have EPS sockets but I think the draw from them should be smaller). I've set WW charging slots 10.00 to 14.00.
Tima441 10.30 ww charge slot set... but did not trigger... So I've again set GE app to force charge Frustrating!
admin Tima441 Likely means your API key has expired as it suggests in our Activity log. Have you tried creating a new Giv API key yet and updated this in your Settings in WW?
Tima441 admin would have expected an alert/warning etc if that was the case? Have now generated new api but will not apply. See screenshot. Have tried reload and also logout and back in
admin Tima441 would have expected an alert/warning etc if that was the case? You can see in your https://app.wonderwatt.com/log a whole raft of error entries, starting from the 31st December. Glad you got it sorted now.
Tima441 admin still inclined to think such s fundamental "error" should trigger an email alert? Should be easy to configure what type of errors get an alert ..... and user switch on/off?
admin Tima441 Fair comment, we've currently not baked in email alerts, but will do so in due course. With a setting so people can opt-out.
GeeCee Originally posted to another thread before I saw this one was more relevant. “Same problem for me last night and into this morning with GivEnergy All-in-One and Agile Octopus” Is this my problem too?
GeeCee GeeCee answered my own question by looking at Activity Log. An email alert would be appreciated. Ta!
GeeCee Yes that’s how I confirmed that your problem was the same as mine. I recall now that when I took up my subscription to WW 90 days ago, I set that as the period the key would stay valid for - as I was evaluating WW. I then promptly forgot that when I decided to subscribe, etc. with the consequences today. Now all properly configured, new API key and a Reminder to reset at a date in the future.
Booji My GE Battery failed to charge on 5/2/25 charge set from 00:05 to 01:55. It's been fine since. I looked at the log and found this Can you explain the error - frow what I can see you could not communicate with my inverter. GIV-AC3.0 Inverter with GE 9.5 kWh Battery, WW ID delicious-can
admin Booji First off, it's not our error. It's an error response we get back from the GivEnergy API. See also our logs, and our several retry attempts: But yeah, it does look like some sort of connection glitch.
Booji Ah, thought so - my internet shows an uptime of 23 days but as you say, just one of those things. Thank you for letting me know.
