Just a heads up for GE app users.
At home, the internet has gone down big time so WW can't schedule anything. No problem i thought, i will fire up the GE mobile app in home mode and use that like i have done before.
Oh no, the latest version insists that the app has an internet connection otherwise it won't load. So i turned off the phone wifi and used mobile data. The app started 🙂
I turned phone wifi back on and switched the app to home mode and inverter stats appeared 🙂
Then i tried to do a quick charge. It failed due to no internet connection. 🙁
Looks like the GE app can no longer control the inverter in home mode unless there is also an internet connection.
