Not been around for a while, mainly because everything has been working just fine. Hope all is well in the land of WW. I noticed the other day in the GE app that charge was/is set to "Solar" (AC Charge Enable off) rather than "Solar+Grid". Upon further investigation, I see in the release notes: v0.5.1017 2025-01-24 Explicitly disable 'AC Charge Enable' flag when disabling charge schedules for Giv (21-Jan) Also, I previously asked in the IOG thread if the charge timings could be reset to 23:30-05:30 by default after any changes/charge/discharge. In my mind, the 2 are related because, in the event of a communication failure or the inverter being offline, the Giv inverter will continue using the last settings, so charging in the standard cheap period should be the defacto settings for IOG. I appreciate people on other tariffs may not want this, hence it should be explicitly for those using IOG integration. I've had a quick look but, I can't see in which thread switching AC charging off came up as being a good idea. Perhaps you might give this a rethink, or at least explain why the settings are the way they are. TIA.

This was done to attempt to specifically address the issue the user was having, but doesn't look like it affects others so perhaps best to revert.

We will do this and ensure anyone on IOG will have the default times reset to 23:30-05:30.

Update: This has been deployed now, server fix only.

I thought I'd wait until this morning before responding to make sure it had been successful.
Unfortunately, it appears not, as I cannot see any instructions were sent/received at all at the end of last nights charging period to reset anything. The settings in the inverter are still as per the instructions sent at the start of the charge period, whereas I would have expected to see instructions to reset start/end times sent at the very least.
I can't see that the inverter was offline at around 07:00. There are no gaps in the data.

Could you have a look at this please?

MrMessy Thanks, pesky bug on the back of the fix last night. Rolling out fix next 10 mins. Was affecting IOG resets only.

Still something missing I'm afraid.
Smart charge last night, at the end the charge power has reverted to max, which is good, but the times are still being reset to 00:00, which is less good.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but, as a consequence of ~~yesterday's~~ the ongoing AWS debacle, could you relook at this, please. I don't know if something has changed, or I didn't thoroughly test before.

I charged the EV Sunday night through Monday morning, and at the end of the charge WW reset the times to IOG default, but switched AC Charge Enable to off, meaning I was potentially in the 💩 last night. I'd managed to gain GE cloud access briefly yesterday afternoon, but could switch it on as I kept getting inverter timeout.
Also, can't post a screenshot, as currently the GE logs are mostly missing.

I don't see why, for IOG, this register can't be left on all the time, or give us an tick option to chose, if it causes problems with other integrations. 🙏
