AndreaL We will put a message up on the Home screen when people log in with a link to the blog article.

Users will have a 10 day Trial that automatically starts from the day we roll out the subscription (1st week of October).

admin I don't see your planned 'Smart Plug Integration' on this list. As an owner of several GE smart plugs [and yes, before the community shout at me about them all bursting into flames - I am fully aware of the 10 Amp limit] - it would be really nice to be able to control my plugs through WW also - this was an important next feature for me.

Anyone with a registered account before October will automatically be enrolled for a discount to the 3-monthly plan.

admin I think your price point for annual subscription could be lower. I can’t see below £40 that it’s worth it. For new customers it could be a real turn off.

And especially with the annual sub, monthly fee works out around £ 4.50. After VAT, payment processor costs and cloud hosting, very little is left. Not even taking into account time of two people working on this.

Firstly, thank you for a generous free period using your service. I have found it simple to use and far more effective than more basic solutions like Octopus R&D labs.
One addition to the service that would probably save me far more than your proposed charge would be to link the Agile integration with solar forecasting. I currently have solar (on a feed-in tariff) linked to a battery system. My usage tariff is Octopus Agile. Within wonderwatt, I can set my "SOC less" and "SOC target" along with the time window and number of slots. It would be great if these SOC targets could be automatically adjusted based on the likely power production on my panels vs the historic load for my house (even if this load value was manually entered by the user). At the moment, in summer, I set the SOC targets low when I require no heating and the panels/battery will cover the load 80%-90% of the time. In the winter, I default to a high target but then on sunny days export when I would prefer not to (having paid to charge the battery unnecessarily).
I realise that this feature is probably more beneficial for those on a feed-in tariff (a minority I guess), who do not wish to export. Therefore, it may not be something worth your time.

Yeah, solar forecasting integration into Agile is one of our next things to get integrated.

JayC Thanks, good suggestion, Apple Pay should be available via our Payment gateway. As long as you are using the Safari browser.

What will happen to my account if I don't sign up? Im looking at maybe seeing how things go and compare between WW and just setting my battery to charge at a fixed time slot. Might sign up if I can see a difference.

For me it's about savings. Do you have any figures of how much WW might save? I know it's difficult. I'm just going to be setting my battery to charge at 2-4am as the prices will be cheaper anyway. I might not pick up on the best slot (I'm on agile) but it'll be better. The only thing I would be missing is my extra back up charge before the peak time.

I'm Growatt too so I think there is less features for WW than other manufacturers and in the future.

Once the 10 day trial ends (which starts from when we activate subs, sometime this week), your automations will be set to Paused.

This is how I am looking at it. Actual savings on electricity are not that big but WW makes it a lot easier to manage charge slots and the HOLD feature is a god send to stop the EV draining the GE battery. It would be great if WW could control the EV charger as well.

johalareewi I thought Octopus were going to support Ohme chargers properly, although this has been on their roadmap for ages.

Would equally be useful for people using HA that have an Ohme charger.
